Great stretch for the hip flexors. Pre workout perhaps, before a squat session. But also great way of loosening off after a day of sitting at work or driving.
It’s a standard kneeling hip flexor stretch, but by using the extra assistance from the band the joint will be pulled a little further forward.
Be sure to squeeze the glute on the leg that you are stretching and breathe out as you do so, try to feel the stretch in the right place down the front of the body in the hips, quads and lower abs. Also be careful not to over arch the lower back.
